We have unlocked Preferred Names! 👍
Now you can differentiate between how you are addressed on legally curated documents 👤 and in communications with your leads! 🙌
Preferred names will be used in all lead-facing interactions, including appointment invitations, automations and snippets! (Be sure to go update your snippets with the new "preferred name" field)
Reach out to your Dabadu Admin's to have your preferred name updated!
** If you're happy with your name in Dabadu the way it is, no need for any additional steps 😊

With the right permissions, you can have your own party-line switchboard at your fingertips! Peer into your Call Dashboard
Listen Live = Pop in and listen along to the call, without disturbing the flow of the sale
Whisper = aka "Coaching", allows you to listen in on the call, and speak only to your sales rep team member
Barge In = Create your own invite and jump into the call to chat with the sales rep and the lead like life-long friends
On top of NEW calling features, we have a new dial pad look to go with it!
You can now enjoy Live Call Transfer and Three-Way calling! ☎
The new dial pad has all of the old favourite features, but now if you click the little person+plus icon, 📄 you can search your contact book (or use an alternate number you type in) to transfer the call or add a participant.

🎃 You know when you're having a conversation and then a single comment spawns 4 new conversations completely unrelated to the original, and eventually no one knows how you wound up where you did? 😝 That's threading. Threading is when you want to have a conversation about a single piece of another conversation.
In Dabadu now, you can go into your manage communication page, or lead detail page - messages tab, choose a single message, and start an Internal conversation about it.
You can:
- tag team members (eg. @Dabadu) 👫
- add/ react with emojis 👍
- add attachments 🎣
All of these threaded messages are Internal. Your leads and customers will NOT receive or see these messages on their end. They are designed for you and the team to be able to sync on the lead's needs and wants they explain in their messages, without you having to reiterate to many other people.
Global search is a feature that is available on any page in Dabadu! 👀 You can easily interact with your lead, without the journey to the all leads page, calendar page, or dashboard! 👏
Find the 🔍 magnifying glass on the top right of your screen to test it out, or use the hot key 🔥 'Shift' + '~' to activate the search. Type a lead name or ID and you can call, email, text, change status, leave a note, or create an appointment from whatever page you are on! 📆

Add, remove, click and drag, make thin as a pencil, whatever suits your fancy + a few extra key features 🙊

Fine Everyone, we hear you! Try out "Shft+`" (shift + the button to the left of the 1) to awaken the all-knowing all-access Global Search feature. Type a name, copy and paste a LeadID, and control the lead completely without any necessary clicks outside of the popup!*

New Features Sometimes a sale is bigger than just you and the lead, sometimes you need some backup, or you have to pass the call to a teammate 📲 Both of these are easy now with Conference Calling and Call Transfer 🔔 You will see a brand new dial pad that allows you to invite others to the party line 🎊
New Features For users with the desired permissions, you can jump in and out of all ongoing calls with ease on the Call Dashboard 🚀 Options of 'Listen In, Whisper, and Barge In' are at your fingertips, giving you the golden ticket of party line invites across your dealership 🎫
New Features Sometimes a lead will say something so profound that it just needs to be shared 📯 Adding a comment on a Threaded Message and tagging everyone you know is the fastest way to spread your new knowledge to your peers ✒

💫 Hey Everyone! 💫
To complete a successful trade-in, we know it can take many steps and often a lot of back and forth between the sales reps, GMs and the appraisal team. We have introduced new statuses to make it clear which stage your appraisal is currently in.
The new statuses work as follows:
Sales agents create a trade-in appraisal form (DRAFT), once completed and they want to send it off to the appraisal team, the GM will review/submit it (SUBMITTED). Someone from the appraisal team may comment on the form, sending a question back to the sales agent (COMMENT ADDED), the sales rep would reply in the comments (RESUBMITTED), the appraisal team would enter the value of the car (APPRAISED) and may come back and change their mind later with a new set of updated values (REVISED). If the trade-in was successful and we can find a matching VIN to the trade-in in the inventory (TRADED-IN).
